Spend a morning in the CALLA studio and leave wearing a one-of-a-kind pearl necklace you designed and finished by hand.
Forget the perfectly matched strand. Susan Rodgers will guide you through the CALLA Pearl Bar, with our curated collection of pearls, stones, and bold focal pieces, and show you how to turn them into a necklace that’s entirely your own. In this small, hands-on class, you’ll learn to play with scale, color, and asymmetry, then finish your piece like a professional.
What you’ll do
- Explore the CALLA Pearl Bar and choose your palette and focal pieces
- Learn simple design principles: contrast, rhythm, scale, and asymmetry
- Lay out your necklace on a bead board, with one-on-one feedback before you string
- String your design and finish it with a secure clasp
- Try on your finished necklace and wear it home
Every necklace is unique, which makes them wonderful holiday gifts (if you can bear to give them away).
Materials included
- Pearls, gemstones, and focal pieces from the CALLA Pearl Bar
